According to Richard Ahiagbah, the New Patriotic Party's director of communications, the NPP is still Ghanaians' greatest option for freedom and prosperity.
He asserts that the government would launch development initiatives in the next year as it has promised in the 2023 budget.
He advised Ghanaians to expect these changes and maintain that the NPP remains the country's best alternative for governance, notwithstanding the economic difficulties the country faces under the Akufo-Addo led-administration.
"I appeal to Ghanaians to support this administration and have trust that the NPP is dedicated and the best alternative despite the obstacles.
Ghana in terms of freedom and growth," he declared on Thursday's JoyNews AM Show.
The communications director also voiced his enthusiasm for the 2023 budget, pointing out that it placed a strong focus on developing local export capability.
According to him, doing this will help Ghana's economy by reducing the cost of the foreign money that leaves the country and creating job possibilities for Ghanaians.
However, according to Mr. Ahiagbah, it would also stabilize the cedi, which will aid in the nation's debt reduction since the strengthening of the cedi "is a big improvement that would allow us recalculate our debt to gross domestic product (GDP)."
