Nigerian music ace and Buga crooner Kiss Daniels, who has been announced as one of the main acts at the international event, is finally getting his wish to sing at this year's World Cup schedule to come off Qatar in November.
Kiss Daniel tweeted in June of this year, "God, help me say amen. I wish to perform Buga for World Cup with a mass chorus."
Yesterday, October 16, he shared another tweet announcing his performance. He shared his earlier tweet and added the phrase "and the Lord said see you in Qatar."
Kiss Daniel's presence is welcome news for fans of African music.
Nigerian Superstar Kizz Daniel will perform at this year's World Cup, which begins in Qatar in November of this year. Kizz Daniel will be the second performer from an African nation to perform on a global scale.
After Davido was first revealed as the African singer who will perform on the global stage, fans were excited to learn that Kizz Daniel had also been included.
He reiterated his earlier intention to travel to Qatar and added, "And the Lord replied see you in Qatar."
Black Eyed Peas and J Balvin, two newcomers to the World Stage lineup in Qatar in November, will perform on the stage alongside other international acts.
The World Cup will be a star-studded event as part of the Qatar Live 2022 series, featuring a number of well-known superstars playing in Doha over the course of six nights.
Along with the three music festivals, the athletic event's opening ceremony will also be a major draw.
